Ive really enjoyed playing this game. There is a learning curve, but there is a tutorial, and a link to the manual in-game. Difficulty 1/5 is plenty in my first two play throughs. Replay value is high for me. I went ahead and bought the expansion packs which allows for better customization and the ability to play with all races. Game is pricier than some upfront, but the game belongs to you once youve paid for it. Ive reached the point where I will gladly pay more upfront for a quality game rather than pay much more in never ending IAP with games in the App Store these days. This is a turned based strategy game that is very deep and enjoyable. I dont regret one bit paying the $13 price tag, and the extra money spent to unlock all of the expansion packs. This is the way gaming used to be, and the way it should be in the future. I rarely write reviews with this many details, but I wish the best for the developer for producing a great game that bucks the trend of exploiting gamers for large sums of money in IAP that never seem to end. I highly recommend and support this game because it is a great game not because of my growing contempt for the never-ending greed that exists in the majority of the pay to play games out there. Nobody complained about paying $50 a game back in the day, and nobody should be concerned for the $13 price tag of this game if they enjoy turned based strategy as I do. Hope this helps you make an informed decision.
